About Me

Stephanie is a jack-of-all trades that loves mixed media, photography (both film and digital), scrapbooking, paper crafting, art journaling, painting and more.

She attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Commercial Photography. While in college, she worked in the Darkroom, worked as a Teacher Assistant, worked in the Mac Lab, tutored students, worked as a Photojournalist for the Johnsonian newspaper, and was Co-President of the Society of Illustrators. She also helped put on a Senior Thesis Exhibition with 4 other photography students in their last year. Her work was featured in The Anthology, a student run Literary & Arts Magazine. She was presented the Outstanding Photojournalism award in her 3rd year as well as an Oustanding Photographer award right before she graduated.

After graduating, she moved back to her hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina and launched her own freelance Photography business. She focused mainly on family portraits, pet portraits, headshots, and weddings. She also was hired to work as a photojournalist for City Council and she enjoyed covering events and meeting many of the movers and shakers in Greensboro. During this time she kept doing fine art photography and shot rolls and rolls of film. She was an avid blogger and documented all of her work online.

In 2013, she decided to take a break from photography and focus on other artistic endeavors. She started art journaling, which allowed her to paint, doodle, use stencils and stamps, and otherwise experiment artistically in a really free way that she never felt she was able to before. She also began scrapbooking and creatively documenting her life.

In 2014, she began using a paper planner again and became a part of the planner community. She had always loved organization, and she fell in love with decorating her planner with stickers. Planning allowed her to combine both her creative side and her left-brained side in a way that felt perfect. At the end of 2015, she opened an Etsy shop selling her own sticker designs. She spends most of her time running her Etsy Sticker Store, but also tries to keep doing creative projects on the side to stay inspired.
